Our History
Morgan
House, Inc. (MHI), Consulting Group, was founded to meet the ongoing needs
of our clients. MHI’s owner and founder, Bob Marshall, has
been helping organizations in the private and public sector achieve successful
business results for over twenty years. Morgan House, Inc. is continuing
that legacy with our Maximizing Business Performance System ™,
a powerful system for effectively translating strategic objectives into
business results.
This fully integrated system is the foundation for assisting organizations
in defining, aligning and addressing issues within the six key dimensions
that drive successful business results.
MHI brings together a top team of talented and experienced consultants
to assist organizations in developing appropriate strategies to meet their
business needs. The firm partners with clients throughout the United States
and has worked with organizations across all business sectors.
Prior to MHI, Bob Marshall founded The Marshall Group, Inc. (1989), a
consulting and training firm whose purpose was to assist large organizations
in addressing new strategic direction with organizational designs and
employee competencies to achieve new strategic objectives.
In 1995, The Marshall Group acquired Qualtec Quality Services, Inc. from
Florida Power & Light to form Marshall-Qualtec, Inc. The merger positioned
the firm to meet the growing demand of companies focused on improving
their business processes and overall business performance. Marshall-Qualtec,
Inc. later merged with Six Sigma International to form Six Sigma Qualtec,
Inc.
Bob formed Morgan House, Inc., Publishing Group, a children’s book
publishing firm in 2001, and one year later added the Consulting Group. MHI,
Publishing Group provides quality books focused on instilling values and
a sense of empowerment in children, our future leaders. A portion
of the proceeds from the sale of the books is donated to the Robert B.

Our Approach
At Morgan
House, Inc., we help organizations create and deliver value to their customers.
We help them to define and prioritize business challenges, align
their leadership and strategy with their value-creating processes, people,
IT systems and structure, improve organizational performance
and deliver measurable business results.
We call our approach Maximizing Business Performance
System.™
Within this framework, we have addressed client challenges from total
enterprise transformation to building organizational capabilities that
address new strategic challenges to redesigning specific processes.
MHI uses two primary methodologies in its practice, Analysis of the Business
by the Business and Value Stream Management.
Analysis of the Business by the Business is a comprehensive,
structured assessment of the business resulting in major recommendations supported
by business cases. This fact-based assessment, which can produce
significant cost savings and improvements in operational performance,
is conducted by a team of key managers coached by MHI consultants.
Value Stream Management is a structured methodology
at the core of the Maximizing Business Performance System. It is designed
to effectively mobilize strategic objectives into maximized business results
by focusing on those processes that directly contribute to recognized
value for the customer.
Value Stream is a sequential
flow of high impact, value-creating processes.
We pride ourselves in building solid client partnerships, understanding
business challenges, designing effective solutions and delivering targeted
results.
Our Model
All too often
we have seen organizations hire new talent and put them to work in ineffective
processes, or design exciting new strategies without having the right
people or IT systems in place to execute them. Our robust model is designed
to consider the total organizational system, and the impact of changing
parts of the system on the whole.
Maximizing Business Performance System™
is a strategic,
comprehensive and reliable framework for defining, aligning and addressing
issues within, the six key dimensions – Leadership, Strategy,
Processes, People/Competencies, IT Systems and Structure - required
